Sacrament of Baptism

"Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word." – Catechism of the Catholic Church 1213

Baptisms must be booked at least 6 months ahead of time as formation is required for the baptism to take place. Please contact the parish office on 9544 1516 or email: clayton@cam.org.au or fill in the details on the ‘Contact Us’ page to arrange an appointment with a priest.

Sacrament of Confirmation

The Sacrament of Confirmation will be celebrated on Sunday, 13th November 2022.

 

Sacrament of Matrimony

Contact the parish office 9544 1516 at least six (6) months prior to the wedding.  A pamphlet Marriages at St Peter's is available from the parish office.  A pre-marriage course must be undertaken before the marriage takes place, which is also a civil requirement.  The pamphlet When Two Become One is available at the parish office also. Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick

By request 9544 1516.  As chaplaincy services are limited at some hospitals, it is advisable to receive the Sacrament of Anointing before your admission.  Please contact Fr Andrew at the parish office.

 

Funerals

Arranged in consultation between the family, parish and funeral director.  The priest will provide direction in preparing the funeral liturgy, a booklet if needed, and for the Words of Remembrance.  Archdiocesan guidelines are to be strictly followed and a copy of this can be found at the website.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word

After the 9:30am Sunday Mass during the academic term throughout year.  Children’s Liturgy of the Word is not conducted during the term breaks.

 

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament

The parish has a 24 hours adoration chapel. Fob keys can be purchased from the parish office. Photo ID is required.

 

Stations of the Cross

Friday during Lent at 6:30pm in the Church.
